Rogue Island Comedy Festival

The semi-annual Rogue Island Comedy Festival is Rhode Island’s only stand-up comedy festival, and performer submissions are currently open!

Please note that there is a fee to apply to this festival.

Held in Newport, Rhode Island, Rogue Island Comedy Festival has two instalments per year – one in Fall (5th – 8th October 2023), and one in Spring (23rd – 27th May 2024). With a whole host of comedians performing across several venues, Rogue Island Comedy Festival aims to present a showcase of top local and nationally recognised comedians.

The festival board is keen to put on a showcase of diverse and original comics, spanning voice, style and background. Comedians who are accepted to perform will be paid for their show/s.

To apply to perform at the festival, head on over to the Rogue Island Comedy Festival website. There, you can fill out a submission form with your contact details and a sample of your work. This will need to be uncut and at least five minutes long, but note that the team will only review the first five minutes of your video.
