The tenth anniversary NYC Web Fest will be held later this year, and is currently open for submissions! The festival champions talent and diversity across global independent film.

Please note that there is a fee to submit your film to this opportunity.

NYC Web Fest was founded in 2014 as a celebration of Web Series. Since then, the festival has expanded into a globally recognised event, aiming to provide networking, socialising and industry opportunities for creators.

2023 will see the Tenth Anniversary of the festival, and will be held from 10th – 12th November 2023. There’ll be screenings, industry panels and the awards ceremony! This celebration of independent film accepts submissions in the following categories:

  • Web Series (minimum of three episodes required to qualify)

Short Form Series (under 10 minutes per episode)
Medium Form Series (10–20 minutes per episode)
Long Form Series (20–30 minutes per episode)

  • Pilot Episodes (the first episode of a series)

Short Form – Under 10 minutes per episode
Medium Form – 10–20 minutes per episode
Long Form – 20–30 minutes per episode

  • Short Films (20 minutes or under)

To be eligible to submit your material to the festival, you’ll need to be aged 18 or older. Submissions can be in any language, as long as no English language submissions are either dubbed or subtitled in English.

To submit your work, head on over to the NYC Web Fest website, where you can fill out an online form with a link to your material and some other info. You’ll also find more details about the festival, as well as the full terms and conditions.

Applications close on 31st August 2023.
