BAFTA Rocliffe TV Comedy Competition
The BAFTA Rocliffe TV comedy writing competition window is open between 4th April and 12th May.
Prizes include a showcase at BAFTA with professional actors and directors; one-to-one development discussion; and one year’s access to BAFTA events, workshops and specialised alumni access.
To enter you’ll need:
– Short synopsis (25 words)
– Treatment (300 words max) for the entire series
– Character breakdown of featured characters (50 words per character max)
– 3 to 6 episode guides/storylines or minimum 3.
– Introduction to extract that sets the scene (100 words) – what happens before and which episode it is. State if it is a sitcom, sketch show, webseries and if it is animation or live action, (state what is appropriate)
– Ten page extract from the script
