Here’s how The Comedy Crowd works

Getting your comedy ideas out there is hard.

Finding good comedy to watch is hard.

This doesn’t make sense because these things should be easy.

There are so many talented creators with original comedy ideas but no place to express them and try them out. People want to watch genuinely brilliant comedy but don’t know where to find it. We know, we are those people.

That’s where The Comedy Crowd comes in.

At The Comedy Crowd we showcase Chorts – the best 2 minute comedy videos.

Chorts are quick to make and quick to watch. You can find out more about them here.

Anyone can make and submit a Chort as a way of testing their comedy idea. We have lots of advice on how to do it well in our blog.

And now we are introducing Comedy Crowd TV. A new way for fans of smart, original comedy to get the ultimate viewing experience and decide which creators get funded to make more shows. Oh yes. Find out more and register for Comedy Crowd TV here.

Most of all we are about supporting new creators. We run online writersrooms with expert comedy coaches, connecting creators around the world and encouraging collaboration.

We also share opportunities, tips and trends in a weekly newsletter that delights thousands of writers and performers every week, and publish articles from creators working on real comedy projects right now.

So how do I get involved?

If you love smart, original comedy and want to influence what gets made, you should be watching Comedy Crowd TV my friend. Register here now

The Comedy Crowd is like a one stop shop for comedy writers. It’s got it all…collaborations, discussions, help, advice and support, and makes you feel like you’re part of a gang. It’s the first place I go to now.”
