Anil Gupta

Anil Gupta is a BAFTA-winning Comedy Executive Producer and Writer, and Creative Director for original comedy at Sky Studios.

As well as being Exec Producer of the UK version of THE OFFICE, his TV credits include GOODNESS GRACIOUS METHE KUMARS AT NO. 42BROMWELL HIGH, THE ARMSTRONG AND MILLER SHOW, and CITIZEN KHAN amongst many other hit comedy series

Anil also co-created BBC Radio 4’s comic fantasy series ELVENQUEST, starring Stephen Mangan, and co-wrote a modern-day adaptation of Molière’s Tartuffe for the RSC.


Clelia Mountford co-founded Merman in 2014 with Sharon Horgan, developing and producing a multitude of projects with a host of international talent.

Clelia is currently executive producing comedy-drama DREAMLAND (Sky), which stars Lily Allen and Freema Agyeman.

Clelia’s recent executive producer credits include dark comedy BAD SISTERS (Apple TV+), comedy drama FRAYED (Sky One/ABC Australia), BAFTA-award winning MOTHERLAND (BBC Two), brand new comedy FRANK OF IRELAND (Ch4/Amazon), upcoming American horror comedy SHINING VALE, new animated comedy series HOUSEBROKEN (Fox), as well as both series of THIS WAY UP (Channel 4/HULU). She also produced two series of the award-winning THERE SHE GOES (BBC Two).

As Producer, Clelia has many high-profile projects to her name including David Cross’s BLISS (Sky One), THE CIRCUIT (Channel 4), the third series of TODD MARGARET (IFC), COCKROACHES  (ITV2), MR SLOANE (Sky Atlantic) and A YOUNG DOCTOR’S NOTEBOOK & OTHER STORIES (Sky Arts). Prior to founding Merman, Clelia held roles as Head of Comedy at RDF and Head of Radio and TV Script Associate at TalkbackThames. Clelia began her career in theatre and radio, producing comedies and dramas for BBC Radio and numerous no 1 theatre tours and West End shows.


Matthew Snead is a VOD native currently working at NBCUniversal as Senior Business Development Director within the Global Distribution team.

Matthew heads up the creative and editorial team which publishes content to over 160 YouTube, Facebook and Snap channels including ‘Universal Comedy’ dedicated to the biggest names in standup.

Matthew is also a writer/director and most recently made a documentary celebrating the classic Kevin Bacon movie Tremors: Making Perfection.


Lynne Parker is the award-winning producer who created Funny Women 20 years ago, now a leading not for profit community for female comedy empowering women to perform, write and do business with humour.

The Funny Women Awards have changed the face of comedy bringing attention to some of today’s biggest names from performers to writers including Katherine Ryan, Sara Pascoe, Sarah Millican, Susan Calman, London Hughes, Desiree Burch, Jayde Adams and many more. The 2022 Awards culminate with a gala final at the Bloomsbury Theatre in London on Thursday 29th September which also celebrates Funny Women’s 20th anniversary.

Lynne is also a renowned performance coach encouraging people in business and public life to ‘Stand Up to Stand Out’. Her work empowers many women both professionally and personally to have a voice.
