Funny Life Film Festival is back for 2023, and accepts comedy short films and feature films.

Please note that there is a fee to submit your film to this opportunity.

The Funny Life Film Festival exists to provide a platform for talented comedy filmmakers, and to give audiences a good laugh! The festival comprises screenings, awards, filmmaker workshops as well as networking and masterclasses.

The festival itself is held in Shoreditch but is open to global creators and anyone with a passion for filmmaking. So no matter your age or level of experience, you are warmly encouraged to submit your film. FLFF is open to submissions of both short films and feature films. Short films should be up to 20 minutes long, and feature films up to 120 minutes.

There will be several awards presented, including in the following categories:

  • Best Animation
  • Best UK Comedy Short
  • Best International Comedy Short
  • Best Comedy Feature
  • Best Mockumentary
  • Audience Award – For Funniest Film (Chosen on the night.)

The final, extended deadline is 31st July 2023. The festival team have also released a discount code, which you can use to get 50% off the submission fee. Code EASTER23 can be used for submissions until 10th April 2023!
