Funny Women Awards 2023

The Funny Women Awards are back for 2023! They’re looking for the best talent in performance (stand up, character, variety), comedy writing and comedy short films this Summer. From their website:

The Funny Women Awards continue to be an incredible showcase for the best and brightest of comedy talent across stage, screen, and page.

Through our Awards, we provide entrants with a safe space for women and non-binary performers to develop their talent amongst peers and like-minded people. 

The Funny Women Awards are split up into several categories, and those are:

• Stage Award – for the best new comedy act
• Comedy Writing Award – for your funny scripts
• Comedy Shorts Award – for comedy short films
• Content Creator Award – a publicly nominated & voted for award for new voices

Comedy Crowd are also delighted to be partnering with Funny Women to support the Industry Award for 2023.

To apply for any of these categories, get yourself over to the Funny Women website and register by 1st June 2023.
