Pleasance Edinburgh

Pleasance is accepting submissions for their 2023 Edinburgh run!

Pleasance Edinburgh will run from 2nd-28th August 2023, with a focus on great ideas, creative risks and top comedy from new talent. The not-for-profit charity prioritises new performances so that unknown names and big names perform side by side at the Festival.

Their programming will range across comedy, text-based and physical theatre, plus family and children’s work.

There’s no official deadline to apply, but you are advised to do so as early as possible. Slots are likely to be provisionally filled early on!

Pleasance have put together information packs for performers, where you’ll find a guide to venues, costs and other considerations. To apply, you’ll need to complete a written submission.
