TriForce Productions are looking for two new writers to join the writers’ room on ITV’s Sorry, I Didn’t Know. The panel show, which focuses on Black history topics, is due to return to ITV in October for five episodes.

The opportunity is open to all new writers. The role will involve 3-5 days work in July, working from home and joining the other writers on Zoom. Two writers will be offered paid roles and will receive a writing credit on the show.To apply, you’ll need to provide:

1. A writing CV. They say: “Please don’t worry if you haven’t got any broadcast credits yet, a list of the things you’ve written, even if you’ve never shown them to anyone else, will be helpful. Tell us if they’re comedy or drama, if you wrote them for TV, film or audio for example.”

2. An explanation of why you want to write for the show.

3. An example introduction for host Jimmy Akingbola (there are examples on the entry page)

4. Your three best history themed jokes.
