#ComedyCrowdEuros
The #ComedyCrowdEuros challenge is now over, as is the tournament. England didn’t quite win. But the bigger prize of “Euro 2020 Comedy Champion” is set to be announced right here very soon!
Could you be the Comedy Crowd’s ‘Euro 2020 Comedy Champion’?
At the end of the tournament we are crowning the creator of the best video our ‘Euro 2020 Comedy Champion’.
The top entry each week will not only feature in our weekly compilation… it will also then go on to the final shortlist. This collection of the very best videos will be watched by an industry judging panel who will select their winner. The Champion will be shared across our channels and will get a lurverly official laurel (not too dissimilar to the winners medal at the tournament) to confirm their greatness.
All you need to do to enter is show us your funny TikTok videos about fandom using the hashtag #ComedyCrowdEuros. Here are some examples of subjects you could cover:
– That mate who thinks he can do a better job than the Polish right back because he once had trials for Crewe.
– The week in the life of a Scotland supporter
– Those left behind by their football obsessed spouses
We will also be setting some specific challenges running for a week at a time. The current special challenge hashtags are are #fantasyfootball #matchday and #owngoal (there’s been a record number this tournament but we’re just as interested in your own goals off the pitch).
Enter this challenge by 11th June for your chance to appear in the next compilation and be crowned the Euro 2020 Comedy Champion.
To enter simply make your funny video on TikTok and add #ComedyCrowdEuros when posting it, as well as any of the specific challenge hashtags above.
And be sure to follow the @thecomedycrowd TikTok page to stay up to date with this and future challenges.
Promotion of Challenge Winners
We’ll be running this challenge with Jim Daly (famed creator of parody football songs) and Dave Bibby (Online Comedian of the Year 2020).
Each week they will compile the best entries on #ComedyCrowdEuros and share them across our platforms.
Timeline
The campaign is open from the 4th June until the end of the tournament on the 11 July for you to post your funny 1 minute videos.
