Remember Top Trumps Cards?

Those things that circulated the playground and made you so jealous that Mary had a pack that your mum definitely said no to? Well, The Comedy Crowd are pushing the nostalgia button for us grown ups (that don’t have to do what their mum says) to get in on the action via TikTok.

Here’s the Comedy Crowd’s Niamh Donnelly with her own:

And now we want you, the funny people of the Crowd, to personalise them for all your weird and quirky characteristics. Or maybe you want to create one for a celebrity, an irritating relative, a local hero, pet or even a fictional character… GO WILD CREATORS! We’ll be sharing the best on our social channels and in our weekly creator newsletter with 10,000 subscribers from across the comedy industry.

We’ll also be discussing this at our forthcoming free event with TikToker Katerina Robinson, who will also be getting involved in some top trump action (details at the foot of the page).

So how does it work exactly:

Step One: Download the Comedy Crowd Top Trumps template here. You can also find this on the linktree in our Instagram bio @comedycrowdtv.

Step Two: Edit your template to add in your categories and scores. This is a PNG so simply using Instagram or any other picture editing app could work for you.

Step Three: Open TikTok and get editing. Click the very first icon on the left and a green screen will appear for your background.

Step Four: Create some comedy! Talk us through your Top Trumps Card and all the anecdotes that come with it. Exercise your improv skills or script it – your choice!

Step Five: Add the sound. We’ve found ‘Comical and a little silly carefree music’ works a treat.

Step Six: POST YOUR COMEDY and don’t forget to tag us #comedycrowdtoptrumps

The Comedy Crowds very own version of Top Trumps for you, the funny people. But who is the funniest?
