How it works
1. ✅ Register below to let us know you are keen to host a meetup event in your local area.
2. 📧 We’ll send you a guidance pack with recommendations for activities, finding locations, and brand assets you can use for the event.
3. 📅 Once you tell us the time and place, we’ll publish the event on our website and in the weekly opportunities newsletter. Creators from the community can get in touch with you directly via the website event page we set up to register their interest.
4. 📸 When you host the event, take pics and video recordings and we will share them with the community!
5. 🏅 You will officially become a Comedy Crowd Ambassador (a working title…. but whatever title we end up choosing, you can be certain “Comedy Crowd” will be in it). This means not only will you be a true comedy creating legend, but also giving you free access to all our future Comedy Crowd events. Oh and plus we’ll give you a lovely official “Comedy Crowd Ambassador” (working title) badge.

What’s the benefit of hosting a Comedy Crowd Meetup in my area?
The Comedy Crowd is a network of over 10,000+ creators around the world, all sharing a passion for making comedy. Some may be in your local area, and this is a chance to meet them, share tips, advice, and maybe make some great content together. We’ll help you promote the meetup to the community and beyond so you have the best chance of finding like minded creators near you.
Is there a fixed format for meetup events?
No. You can do anything from a simple social get together in a pub to an open mic night, script reading, improv games or sketch development. We’ll give you some recommendations but feel free to do whatever you want all in the name of connecting with comedy creators 🤗.
Yes, if you have an existing comedy creator event you would like to share here we can include it as a Comedy Crowd meetup event.
Can I charge attendees for the events?
We would only recommend charging attendees if you have to cover any location booking fees. Remember the idea of these meetups is to connect with like minded creators rather than making a profit.
