CortoNero Noir Short Film Competition

The internationally recognised CortoNero competition is currently open for global short film submissions.

Please note that all films must be subtitled in, or filmed in, Italian.

The competition itself was established in 2008 and takes place annually in Naples. On their FilmFreeway page, the festival team explain that their goal “is to find new ways of investigating and experimenting ideas for noir and mystery.”

Submissions are accepted in a number of categories:

Black Comedy
Noir
Detective Stories
Crime
Thriller
Horror
