DaF & The Onion Workshops

The Diverse as Fuck Comedy Festival have partnered with The Onion to offer a series of related workshops.

There will be workshops held in-person in Chicago, and workshops held online, so make sure you apply to the right one!

The workshops have been created as a way for comedy writers from historically excluded groups to learn and grow their talent, with the help of an established comedic institution. As such, the workshops will be free to attend.

You’ll learn about The Onion writing style, including using form and voice for comedic effect. So the team recommend that you get a good feel for The Onion writing style before applying!

Workshops are as follows:

Chicago, The Onion Office: 25th & 26th March 2023
Virtual: 25th & 26th March 2023
