Laughing Dog Comedy Film Festival
The second Laughing Dog Comedy Film Festival is now looking for short comedy submissions for their festival!
Please note that there is a small fee to submit your work to this opportunity.
The Laughing Dog Comedy Film Festival was established by actor and filmmaker Joe Grisaffi as a tribute to his dog, Zoe, who passed away in 2021. It is a new, growing festival whose first instalment racked up hugely positive feedback.
This year’s festival will be a one-day spectacular held in Houston, Texas. The seating capacity will be 80 and the festival organisers expect that there could be 6 to 8 hours of programming, showcasing the awarded films!
The festival will be accepting work which was produced in the last five years, and will be awarding in the following categories:
- Best Film
- Best Director
- Best Actor
- Best Actress
- Best Child Actor
- Best Screenplay
- Best Cinematography
They encourage English subtitles to be included in any non-English language submissions.
Films must be no longer than 25 minutes, and there’s also the opportunity to submit your comedy trailers to the festival.
To submit your comedy to the festival, and for the full details, head on over to Laughing Dog Comedy Film Festival’s FilmFreeway Page.
The final deadline is on 15th January 2023.
