Register now for an online panel event which will be taking place ahead of The Hot House development lab opening.

The Hot House will be opening for submissions on 1st December 2022. It’s a new development lab for scripted TV and Film which will centre around climate change, offering shortlisted writers three months of individual support on a climate-focussed project. In preparation for applications opening, BBC, BFI and Climate Spring are hosting this panel event.

The speakers will be screenwriter Richie Mehta, BFI Editor at Large Lizzie Francke and Climate Spring director Lucy Stone, who will be discussing how storytelling can be a powerful tool in fighting climate change, and how your scripts can successfully tackle the issue.
