TYPE Magazine Submissions
TYPE! is a free bookmark magazine which champions bold new writing. They accept submissions on a rolling basis in the following categories:
- #RuleOfSix – tell a story in six words
- Fiction – 1,000 words or fewer
- Flash Fiction – 400 words or fewer
- Poetry – 200 words or fewer
- Micro-plays – 1-2 pages long
- Micro-films – 1-2 pages long
- Illustrations – Please send black and white work only
It is free to submit, and as TYPE! is free to read, it cannot pay for submissions or chosen work. What TYPE! will do is to work with writers in promoting the piece and their other writing. TYPE! also requires written confirmation that submissions are original work. Submission carries no guarantee of inclusion or feedback, but every submission will be read.
