Election Time! – winner to be announced shortly (Trump has not entered so he can’t win this one)
The US presidential election has been a rather large piece of news recently, and we are playing our part at CC by setting up a competition for you to show off your funny news articles.
The winning news article is being judged by NewsThump managing editor Richard Smith.
The 11 November entry deadline has passed and the winning news article will be announced shortly.
Comedy Character Competition – ends 2 December
Jon Petrie, Producer of BAFTA nominated sitcom People Just Do Nothing, is the guest judge for our original comedy character competition.
To enter all you have to do is submit a video or audio of your original comedy character, max 2 minutes in length.
Twitter Joker – starting on Friday 11 November
From one original comedy character to 140 characters, its the Twitter joke competition.
We want your best joke in 140 characters or less on the following subject: “Smart household appliances stop the internet”
The winner will be judged by comedy writer and script editor Daniel Page.
